This data serves exclusively for statistical purposes and to enable us to evaluate our developed handprint-based biometric system. Under no circumstances will we disclose any of your information to third parties whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes. Test protocol: 1. Recording conditions are verified: - Users are FREE to put off silver and gold rings, if they desire (and if it is possible), but NOT asked to do so; - Users with band-aid (ast fingertips) are NOT accepted; - Users are NOT asked to remove clothing or watches; 2. Users are instructed to put their right hand into a box with the scanner inside with the hand touching the surface: "Please, put your right hand inside the box onto the surface of the scanner" 3. Users are told to spread their fingers and choose an arbitrary position (slight rotations allowed) and try not to move during acquisition: "Please, ensure that your fingers do not touch each other and try not to move during acquisition" 4. Scans are made with default settings and without preview; 5. After image acquisition, each user is advised to remove his hand from the box and is shown his scanned hand on a monitor. The hand image is stored with increased image counter. 6. If a user has violated recording advisory (according to manual inspection), steps 1-6 are repeated. 7. Until 5 hand images (plus additional scans for violations) are stored, repeat this process (steps 1-7)
