About me
I am a post-doctoral researcher employed as a senior scientist at the
department of mathematics at the
university of
Salzburg. My primary research interests are in the field of computational
geometry and its applications. In particular, I am interested in the geometric,
algorithmic and implementational aspects of skeleton structures like
generalized Voronoi diagrams and straight skeletons. For a more detailed
overview on my recent work please visit my
research
site.
Since 2011 I am lecturing at the
Salzburg university of applied
sciences.
During my doctoral studies I worked at the
computational geometry and
applications lab headed by Prof. Martin Held, which resides at the
department of computer science at the
university of Salzburg.
I finished my Doctoral studies in 2011 at the Department of Computer Sciences
at the University of Salzburg. Furthermore, I received a Master degree in
Mathematics, a Master degree (Dipl.-Ing.) in Computer Science, a Bachelor
degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor degree in Computer Science in the years
2009, 2008, 2007 and 2006, respectively, from the University of Salzburg.
