Born and living in the City of Salzburg, the capital of the Province of Salzburg, Austria.
In 1998 I completed my computer sciences study with a "Diplomingenieur" degree. The PhD study (Dr. techn.) was completed in 2008.
From October 1996 to February 1999 I was working here at the "Institut für Computerwissenschaften" (Computer sciences department), a branch of the University of Salzburg, as a system administrator.
Since March 1999 I've been employed at the Computer Sciences Department as a research and teaching assistant, with the main focus on networking and digital data/video broadcasting, and at gcs GmbH.
