About me

I'm a Post-Doc researcher in the WaveLab group headed by Prof. Uhl. My PhD thesis was focused on the computer-aided classification of endoscopic images (specifically from the Gastrointestinal tract). In the course of this thesis we developed different novel methods for the classification of colonic polyps and the detection of celiac disease.

I finished my Doctoral studies in 2011 at the Department of Computer Sciences at the University of Salzburg. Furthermore, I received a Master degree (Dipl.-Ing.) in Computer Science in 2006 from the University of Salzburg.
