Problem Description

The goal of this project is to develop a Java framework providing ANN functionality for applications. The framework should model the basic principles of biological neural networks (BNNs) so as to enable a variety of new ANN models inspired by biology. Additionally, the framework should also support implementation of well--known network types and training algorithms by offering a small set of basic classes and methods. Naturally, execution speed is to be optimized, however, the top priority is put on flexible and simple use of the framework.
